Went for a review at CGH on Wednesday. I did hope for the better, but also expected something else. Anyway, the outcome was to remain in a cast for the next 2 weeks. Two choices were given. One is self-healing, where there's a 70 to 80% chance of letting the bone attaching back by itself. Another would be surgery, where a metal chip is inserted to hold both ends together. None of these was the better option. Hence, the doc advised observation for 6 weeks, with an X-ray exam 2 weeks from now.
I'll be missing the first week in school. In fact, I may miss more. Whatever the outcome may be after the X-ray, I have to be back. I have to get rid of this cast. Wasting my time away.
Everyday is FIBUA.
