Stop And Stare by OneRepublic
This town is colder now, I think it's sick of us
It's time to make our move, I'm shakin off the rust
I've got my heart set on anywhere but here
I'm staring down myself, counting up the years
Steady hands, just take the wheel...
And every glance is killing me
Time to make one last appeal... for the life I lead
Stop and stare
I think I'm moving but I go nowhere
Yeah I know that everyone gets scared
But I've become what I can't be, oh
Stop and stare
You start to wonder why you're 'here' not there
And you'd give anything to get what's fair
But fair ain't what you really need
Oh, can u see what I see
They're tryin to come back, all my senses push
Un-tie the weight bags, I never thought I could...
Steady feet, don't fail me now
Gonna run till you can't walk
But something pulls my focus out
And I'm standing down...
Stop and stare
I think I'm moving but I go nowhere
Yeah I know that everyone gets scared
But I've become what I can't be, oh
Stop and stare
You start to wonder why you're here not there
And you'd give anything to get what's fair
But fair ain't what you really need
Oh, you don't need
What u need, what u need...
Stop and stare
I think I'm moving but I go nowhere
Yeah I know that everyone gets scared
But I've become what I can't be
Oh, do u see what I see...

14 more days to freedom!
Hey everyone!
Some brief news before work.
Went to school an hour today for CENGPR lesson. I didn't want to go initially. Nevertheless, I had this special urge to go to school. An unexplained feeling that simply cannot be described in words.
The attendance for 2B05 was "pathetic". Only fatt, bf, clara and myself came. 2B06 was relatively better, with ben and gang, yb and company and a few of the girls. I had expected her to go through our reports but she haven't even finished marking. She only went though some past year questions (luckily I did some of them) and highlighted some points in our lab reports.
After the lesson, fatt, bf and I went IMM to study. I had my lunch as well. Fatt went off a while later as she had something on. Bf and I stayed to chat and study.
I made my way back at 1700. Went to check out the regional library at Tampines (TRL) and realised that it's way better than the one in Bedok. The main problem in Bedok is there are usually not enough tables but with an abundance of sofas and chairs. In the case of TRL, it has more tables and chairs for revision, especially those in the reference room. The ambience is superb. Even the "young readers" section, which was meant for children, was relatively quiet. Maybe there were not many people around. Nevertheless, I would still prefer the one at Tampines. I found a decent table and studied my QAAS for more than an hour. Didn't cover much, but at least I've made my time worthwhile. I don't think I could have done that well if I had stayed at home the whole day today. I may consider going there tomorrow.
Oh Rebecca.. You are my "hope" in the Pandora's box..

17 days to freedom!
Finished my last ENVSTB quiz today. Spent a long time studying for it but most of the questions were of calculations. Didn't have time to check the paper but I guess I should be able to get a decent grade.
Received back my CENGPR quiz. I was a bit disappointed with my marks due to some serious careless mistakes. More haste, less marks. Nevertheless, it's all over. I must "add oil" for my exams.
I volunteered to help out at the "SP Open House" last Saturday. Though I was there for only a few hours, I had a sense of achievement. I managed to do my job well, though it was not my primary job.
I was initially assigned to help out in distributing "goodie bags". However, the "goodie bags" were only given out at around 11-plus am when more visitors arrived. Instead of slacking around, I helped some of my classmates in distributing "Sprite".
I was getting a bit bored after distributing the cans for an hour or so. GL then suggested going mobile, where we bring cartons of "Sprite" into the "Spinnovex" exhibition tentage.
As it was still early, there wasn't any visitor at "Spinnovex". There were only students displaying their projects. This made our life easier as we were able to negotiate the sharp turns and corners in the tentage using our trolley. We bought in 6 cartons of "Sprite" and we came out stockless in less than 20 minutes. It was really great, but it could have been better if we sold our cans and pocketed the money.
Besides going to the "Spinnovex" tentage, we also gave the cans to the people in the "wireless room" near the Vietnamese cafe, as well as visitors we met along the way. Saw some great looking ladies and offered them drinks, so we didn't really complain about our job.
The "Sprite" was really damn popular. We kept going back to the storage room for fresh stocks. At the end of the day, we cleared almost half of the total number of cartons that were available before the start of the day.
Damn. Maybe I should really be doing sales and marketing. Even my horoscope says so. A wonder Gemini. Still looking for my twin.
I received my ITP posting today. Some company at Loyang. Most probably going to relax and chill during ITP nights, especially after a hard day's work.
"We just don't care
We just don't care
We just don't care."
Bye! All the best for those taking exams for the next few weeks! It's going to be over soon!

50th post!
Another tiring week has ended. Ooh yeah!
This post marks the "golden jubilee" of my posts.
I'll like to thank everyone who has helped me in one way or another in making this blog a success ever since this blog was started. 感谢大家的支持!
Cleared my TR&TRA presentation on Thursday. A lot of effort has been put in for this presentation since my group got together. We went through tough times while doing our research but it was all worthwhile. It was so difficult to earn our deserved marks from Dr Chia. Nevertheless, it was a job well done. Excellent work team! Mr Tso, you better be happy that you've got what you wanted.
Finished my QAAS quiz today. I was surprised that the questions were direct and relatively easy. I had expected the paper to be tough as I was not extremely well prepared. What a relief!
Accompanied Jo to shop for a pair of slippers at Orchard. Didn't manage to buy anything in the end. I suggested going Borders before taking the train home. Eventually, we spent 2 hours there browsing through divination books again and again. Jo really liked a book about Chinese Horoscopes and wanted to buy it. After looking at the price, he decided not to. The book costs more than 30 bucks.
Browsed through 2 books on aircraft as well. I realised that Singapore's military aircraft are much more advanced compared to those from our neighbouring countries in SEA. So much $ has been contributed to defence and the amount has not gone down since. In terms of technology, we have the upper edge. Nevertheless, we cannot rely solely on our weapons. We need our own people to stay together and preserve our sovereignty.
Sleep tight!

Early Bird!
Morning everyone!
This is my first time posting so early in the morning.
Just want to talk about my dream just now. This dream is like an adventure, with many scenarios occurring within a small time frame.
There was this scene where I was in class in with many people in DCP. There was this unfamiliar lecturer who was taking attendance. One of my classmates told me he left out my name. Only after I heard the lecturer called "YH" twice then I realised that he was taking attendance for all of the people in DCP. When he finished marking his attendance, he stood up. To our amazement, he was wearing this traditonal chinese costume for an official dating back to the Song Dynasty in China. Everyone started laughing like nobody's business.
Gtg now! Preparing for my presentation later...

Happy New Year!
Oh yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
2008 is finally here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Happy New Year everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just finished watching "Countdown 2008 Vivocity" on TV. I didn't plan to go to any countdown parties as I was quite tired. Nevertheless, I'm having the festive mood.
Went to school for a short meeting with my TR&TRA teammates. The feeling of going to school on New Year's Eve wasn't good at all. However, for the sake of my presentation, I decided to carry on with the meeting even though Dr Chia was unwell and absent.
The school was extremely deserted. The "Banglas" were shaving the roadside trees beside the pond. C M Tso was devastatingly late as usual. He came after the library closed for its half-day. Can you believe it? The rest of us have already reached town and were going for our lunch. He didn't join us in the end.
Went to Starbucks at Marina Square after having lunch at Funan. Had a very long and interesting talk there.
Good nite! Enjoy ur first day of 2008 people!!
