Soon, we'll be ushering in 2008. 2007 has been a fruitful year for me, with many interesting experiences. Being a civilian is definitely way better than having a military life. Two years before this day, I am still slogging like a slave and carrying out orders.
My classmates and I visited our tutor's house yesterday. We initially planned for a babiq but rain approached shortly after we started cooking. We took the food and utensils and rushed to Dr Chia's house. Our lunch was served by the maid.
We spent our time after lunch listening to Dr Chia's experiences while he was studying overseas. He had so many stories to tell and they were never ending! When he mentioned that he knew a bit of palmistry, everyone of us gathered around him and asked him to read our palms. From his divination, my life prospects seem to be good. Lines and patterns on palms changes every 5 to 10 years. I'll see how it goes. My feet have lines too. Does "feetistry" exist?
We left his house at around 1930. Took the train with Clara and alighted at Pasir Ris. Joined my cousins and sis at Downtown East chalet for my uncle's birthday celebration. He didn't even bother to make a wish before blowing out the candles! At least he managed to smile behind the cake and we took a picture of him. This was probably the first time I had celebrated his birthday.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to 2008. I will make my 2008 a very exciting one. Resolution is to stay healthy!
For honour and glory! Cheers to the New Year everyone!

Merry Merry Christmas!
I am enjoying every minute, every hour, every day of the holidays.
There was not much schoolwork to complete. I finally have time to pay my sleep debts and have time for my own self, not forgetting socializing and meeting up with old friends. It has been months since I felt so free.
I met up with my JC buddies, Vince, KJ and KH yesterday. We went to Cineleisure Orchard for a movie in the late afternoon. We saved 1.5 bucks on our tix as the movie starts before 1700.
We proceeded to the basement for our dinner. Cine was relatively crowded with lots of "teenage beauties". There was even a queue for the elevators!
We stayed until 2200 before making our way out of Cine. As we stepped out of the building, we were overwhelmed by the crowd. There were throngs of people on the streets and it was difficult to move around.
We walked for while before seeking refuge behind Ngee Ann City. The crowd was moving in a general direction and we were wondering what was going on. We went against the crowd. After about one hour, we noticed that the source of the crowd was the Orchard MRT station exit. The police set up many road blocks and dividers to facilitate the crowd movement and ensure minimum chaos. There wasn't a programme or whatsoever. It was just too many people. Several were partying away, armed with their weapons, the spray foam.
I brought a camera, hoping to take pictures with some fanciful Santarinas. However, we didn't managed to meet any. How disappointing.
We proceeded to Borders at ard 2300. We stayed at my favourite section which contains all the divination and astrology books. Borders closed at 0000.
We witnessed the countdown near Wheelock. It wasn't a grand one, but nevertheless the ground was littered with foam, streamers and spray cans.
Our last stop was McCafe. Stayed there for almost an hour. Vince suggested going to Party World. Upon arrival, we found out that the smallest room (5 pax) costs $163! We decided to sing another day.
Managed to catch the train at 0120 and took the Night Rider home. Slept at 4-plus.
These were some of the highlights of the day.

The Sith Lords!
Wishing everyone happy holidays and a great new year ahead!

10 days to Christmas!
Yo!
My holidays are here! Finished my second FOCHEM quiz today. I can finally rest my mind, body and soul. It was not easy enduring the past few weeks. I have to pay back my sleep debts and recharge for the short term and semester exams coming up after these 2 weeks. Soon I'll be an "old bird" in SP.
Went for dinner at this famous restaurant in Lucky Plaza. This restaurant's chilli sauce is the best that I have tasted at any restaurants so far. It turned me on.
We went for a stroll along Orchard Road before proceeding to Wheelock. Spent some time at Borders reading some interesting divinity books and LOHO.
Damn tired. Gotta sleep.
She will be loved. I'll be waiting.
Glossary: LOHO = laughing our heads off

18 more days to Christmas!
Finally finished my tasks this week. My ENVSTB formal report is finally completed. The ENVSTB quiz on Monday was not very well done, though I think I should be able to pass. For the following week, I'm left with 2 data sheets to clear, not forgetting the FOCHEM quiz on Friday. I must not let "left face" down.
Some history.
Today marks the 66th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. On Dec 7, 1941, Pearl Harbor was attacked by the Japanese forces. The US forces suffered severe casualties and many ships and planes were lost. Shortly after the Japanese started their conquest of SEA.
Had my first taste of "Subway" today. The food was alright. It's kind of frustrating when you can't understand what the service crew were saying. Fortunately, the auntie at the cash register was on the same "frequency" as me.
Probably going St James tomorrow. Drown everything in booze.

Yoyo!
Finished the TR&TRA quiz this Wednesday. It was relatively alright and passing should not be a problem. Can set my mind at ease. 55% of the module is gone. Now is the time to work hard for the remaining 45%.
Didn't do anything interesting this week. Just finished studying half of the topics for the ENVSTB quiz. I hope history does not repeat itself with the results I obtained for the 1st ENVSTA quiz.
Chelsea was damn lucky to score against West Ham today. It was a 50/50 judgement made by the assistant referee. He did not raise his flag for offside, allowing Joe Cole to score.
An exciting week awaits.
Enjoy this video!

1 more month to Christmas!
Time really flies. Week 10 is approaching and half of the semester is gone.
This week has been less hectic without quizzes. The good thing is that I am left with just 1 formal report and 2 presentations. Would try to finish my report by Friday in order to focus on the ENVSTB quiz on week 11.
Went for dinner with KJ and KH on Saturday night. Quite surprised to see YH at Vivo's "Kopitiam". Shows how small SG is.
We spent a long time at "Page One". The shelves are so high that it's no wonder you can get lost in the world of books. I read about this woman in her 60's. She has the slimmest waist at only 15 inches! She wore this particular corset that made her waist shrink from 28 to 15 inches in 20 years.
Really love Jay's new album. A thumb up!
Bye!

Finally had a chance for a decent rest.
This Friday marked the end of a series of quizzes. Have been having quizzes every week and I'm sick of them. The TR&TRA report was finally completed and handed in on Friday.
I went for a jog with bf at Macritchie on Sat. It was relatively crowded with youths donning school singlets and tees. We saw a group of canoeists having their practice.
The terrain is full of slopes, with several steep ones. It is definitely a place to improve your stamina.
Later in the night, I went for a drink with fellow cousins and sis at "winebar". There were no available seats so we took the reserved seats. It was not overly crowded. I had a couple of drinks, two servings of "Sex on the Beach", a few sips of Apple Martini, one Tequila pop and one vodka with lime. All for free!

Some updates.
Saw Felicia Chin and Desmond Koh in school early this week. It was a surprise visit as I didn't expect them to come. I took pictures with both of them on this rare occasion, thanks to the purpose of bringing the camera to school for my ENVSTB formal report. Heh.
I was attracted to this woman when I saw her on the bus for the first time on Tuesday. Her appearance was average, but I just couldn't stop taking a second look at her again and again. I saw her again on Wednesday morning and I stood beside her on the train. She has nice thick lips. I am so tempted.
Finished 2 quizzes this week. Studied so much yet came out so little. I sacrificed too much of my sleep. Was indifferent towards my TR&TRA result.
Finally got my hands on Maroon 5's latest album. It really rocks!
2 more quizzes coming up this week. I must unleash my power again.

Sweet November is here!
Time passes so fast. I wish I could travel faster than the speed of light.
E-learning week will be over soon. The past few days have been spent discussing group assignments in school. Felt that I wasted too much time. Getting bored of school. E-learning week should not be a time used for schoolwork or group discussions. It should be a time for students to slack and relax. The "E" in "E-learning" means "End".
I found out something interesting today.
While I was in school for GEM discussion, me and my group members realized that daylight robbery results in a lighter sentence than night robbery!
I want to create a place furnished with all my desires and fantasies.

E-learning week is here once again!
This elearning week is going to be action-packed. Have 2 formal reports and GEM's CA 1 to clear, not forgetting going back to school for group work and studying for quizzes coming up!
I feel lazy this semester. I guessed I enjoyed myself too much during the holidays. I need motivation! I have to imagine a bunch of "chiobus" standing at my doorway and holding a sign which reads, "we are yours if you get the certificate for "good performance" this semester"! I didn't get it for the last sem.
Went for a short tanning session today. To my disappointment, I didn't see any gd-looking ladies and the sun was not very strong.
Met up with KJ to buy a present for Kwan Hwee yesterday. We eventually bought an addidas collared tee at the royal sporting house in marina square. KJ is having late nights ever since he entered uni. If he had lessons at 0830, he would go to sleep only at 3-plus in the morning! I wonder whether I'll be able to take it, since I'm already slogging in poly.
Arsenal must beat Liverpool! I'm depending on you Adebayor!!!

Jenny by The Click Five
She calls me baby
Then she won't call me
Says she adores me
And then ignores me
Jenny, what's the problem
She keeps her distance
And sits on fences
Puts up resistance
And builds defenses
Jenny, what's the problem
You leave me hanging on the line
Every time you change your mind
First you say you won't
Then you say you will
Keep me hanging on
But we're not moving on
Or standing still
Jenny, you've got me on my knees
Jenny, and it's killing me
She needs her own space
She's playing mind games
Ends up at my place
Saying that she's changed
Jenny, what's the problem
I'm trying to read between the lines
You've got me going out of my mind
Chorus
It's killing me
It's killing me
Jenny
Chorus (x2)
It's killing me, Jenny
Woohoo! Kimi has won the F1 Drivers' Championship! Luck was really on his side.
He claimed the top spot in the Interlagos race, which enabled him to clinch the title by a 1-point advantage over Hamilton and Alonso. Hamilton was seventh while Alonso was third. Hamilton was awarded second in the Drivers' Championship in lieu of more second places than Alonso in this season.
Finished my revision for the TR&TRA quiz yesterday. Going to revise again at night after school. Having muscle ache due to the run yesterday.
Why do I feel so energetic even though I only slept 4.5 hours yesterday?

Been studying for the TR&TRA quiz in the afternoon. Finished Leong's part in 2 hrs. Didn't feel like studying as I am still in the "holiday" mood.
I'll most probably be watching the final F1 race of the season later. It starts at 0000 hrs, sg time. I hope Kimi wins, though it is going to be tough, based on the fact that Hamilton just needs a second place and not forgetting Alonso as well. Massa has home support too. Let's just see how it goes.
I haven't been running since school started. I am going to go for a run now. Hope to meet some "chiobus" along the way. Bye!

I realised that Dr Cheng is not that bad after all.
I used to think that I am not going to do well for his modules, based on the fact that I can't understand a single shit about what he is saying. Not that he is a bad teacher. I just have a hard time trying to figure out his words when he speak with an "American" slang.
After revising my notes, I decided to consult him regarding my doubts. As I expected, I could understand everything he said when I conversed with him using Mandarin. Ho Say Liao!
When I first peeped at his photo, his face looked fierce, which in turn lowered my confidence level for his modules. However, to my surprise, he appeared to be nice, friendly and fatherly. Looks like I have made the right choice when I chose my electives.

Look at 芮恩! So chio!
Had a tiring week. Since the start of this week, I have been constantly touching my books once I got home from school. Doing EMII tutorials are really enjoyable, despite the fact that I used to dislike doing Maths C tutorials during my JC days.
Went to "Plush" for a drink with Kwan Hwee. It was the official opening of the club and there's free entry with free flow from 8 to 10pm. What a deal! I drank a few shots of Vodka before I left. Music genre was R & B and hip hop, my type of music. The club was not overly crowded, compared to MOS.

Yo!
First post of the new semester. I am still in my holiday mood. Ha. Wanted to hit the books but just can't bring myself to it.
Have to choose some elective modules for third year. It has been a tough time deciding what to study. I have finally seen the light yesterday.
Changed my brackets to a power chain for my upper braces. Looks kind of weird with two different shades of colours between the upper and lower ones. My orthodontist is so hot. She said she would see me again after five weeks. However, the counter staff made an appointment ten weeks later as she is totally booked. I wonder whether she is that popular after working hours.
Looking forward to Jay's new album that will be hitting the stores in late October.

School is starting soon! It has been a long one month holiday. During school days, I always look forward to holidays. When the holidays are here, I would prefer them to pass quickly. It's quite contradicting actually. Nevertheless, I am recharged and ready for the new semester!
Came back from a class chalet yesterday. It was supposed to be a 3D2N event, yet it was inevitably shortened to 2D1N. Slightly more than half of our class went, with seven of us, including derreck, staying for the whole duration.
The event was not entirely effective in raising the class spirit. Many didn't turn up at all. Frankly speaking, I feel that going to the beach in East Coast or Sentosa and having a BBQ at night would do just fine. There are lots of activities that can be done at the beach, such as soccer, volleyball, swimming, suntanning, or just simply enjoying the sea breeze. It is economical as well. Instead of making it a 3D2N event where some may not stay overnight, we can shorten it to just a 1D or 2D1N event and increase the frequency of these gatherings. A lunch or dinner gathering may not be the best solution as the class may be dispersed into "bits and pieces" after the event.
I finally received my long awaited IPPT incentive award. Not much, but at least I can get snatch some cash from the government. Ha. I still remember what my platoon sergeant said during my combat shoot last year. "Government give you money you also don't want?!" This pushed me to perform well and in turn, I received my marksmanship award. Since almost everyone pays taxes every year to the government, we should get cash from the government whenever we can! It is our own money anyway.

Hi!
Yesterday was 11/09/07. It may not be a special day to some of us, but it is a day to remember. A day when the world was shaken. Time really flies and it has been 6 years since the Sept 11 attacks have occured. I still remember I was still in Secondary 3. I was just about to go to bed when the attacks were shown on television. I could not forget that scene. It was the first major news on television that I had remembered vivdly since then. Let us remember all those that have passed on. May peace be upon us.
The Mid-Autumn Festival is finally coming! I am going to feast on those snowskin mooncakes soon! My favourite! Yum!
I watched the news sometime ago. They mentioned that Tiger Airways are regrouping and expanding. I saw one cute air stewardess on televison. Didn't know that they had such fine stewardesses. Must have overlooked them when I went to the budget terminal a few months ago. Damn. I should consider taking Tiger Airways in the future.
Had my first driving lesson yesterday. It wasn't too bad, though I've made some minor mistakes. Had some conflicts between my driving skills and those that my instructor is teaching me. I expected some "plucking" from the instructor but he was patient. It was very different when I was in the army. I was often "f***ed" by my SAF driving instructor for making minor mistakes. Nevertheless, he said my skills were intact and I may just need a few lessons to brush up my skills.
Not long after, I went to Bedok NTUC and did some grocery shopping. While I was waiting at the cashier's queue, some woman came beside me and asked me whether I was interested in buying a shaver. She must have felt that I need a really good shave as I have not been shaving for more than 3 weeks! I must have looked like some castaway stuck on an island for a very long time.
Finally, I saw my results today. It was really below my expectations. Damn. I must push myself further the next semester.
That would be all for today. Bye for now!

These are pictures of the block opposite my house. Notice anything that stands out?
I have lots of stuff to write about.
I finally finished my exams today. Woohoo! Today's CORRSC paper was quite well done. I was glad that certain details that require much memory work were not tested. To sum up, I have confidence in getting at least 4 As for this semester exam.
I wanted to ask Gwen out today to celebrate the end of my exams. Unfortunately, she had to attend some classes this weekend. I wonder when I would meet her again.
I had lunch with the guys today. We had a "great" time making fun of Chin Ming (no offence) and Chin Ming did not seem to mind. In fact, as expected, he showed his silly smile and laughed throughout the whole "process". It was totally amusing.
I went to the library to borrow a book titled "My Kiasu Teenage Life In Singapore". This book tells the story of a Malaysian girl who came to study in Singapore. It contains all her letters that she wrote to her best friend in Malaysia during her stay here. Though the book is fictitious, the description of events were vivid and the life of a teenage girl was very well portrayed. There was a part saying that CHIJ = Crazy Hypocrites, Idiotic Jerks (no offence). It was hilarious.
Not long after, I went to "Kelly Services" to look for any temporary assignments. I want to earn some extra cash during this holidays. My money is growing too slowly. I chatted with this lady who served me at the outlet. She was probably in her early twenties but she looked a bit haggard, probably because she had a very fair complexion. Overall, she was decent-looking. There was an instant when she bent down and I saw something which I thought I should not be staring at. She asked me whether I was open to the F & B industry, and I said yes. She told me that her colleague would contact me if there are available vacancies.
As soon as I reached home, I tidied up my room and placed some of my notes into the storeroom. It would be quite some time before they get exposed to light again, giving rise to free radical substitution and so on. (LOL)
I am not staying too late tonight. I have a long day tomorrow.
I guess this is the longest post in the history of this blog. Thank you for your appreciation! Good night!

I saw this hot girl while I was walking home today. She was wearing a red top and some dark coloured shorts. Her hair was dyed brown, touching her shoulders. When we gazed upon each other, my heart almost "melted" into the "liquid phase". It was that extreme. She looked a bit skinny. Nevertheless, she was close to my ideal definition.
Today's OSRM paper was relatively easy, which was quite surprising. I had expected a tougher paper, taking into account that I did not go through any of the OSRM tutorials before the exam. I just felt bored going through the tutorials. Hence, I prepared myself by attempting a few questions taken from last semester's exam paper. Of the 4 module exams completed so far, I am confident of getting an A for MATSC, BIA and OSRM. The PROINS paper was a bit wasted. I shall now place my mind and body on CORRSC, my last battle.
I have lots of errands for the holidays. They just keep coming.

Today's PROINS exam was not well done. It was supposed to be a piece of "round and fat" cake since most of the questions were taken from past-year exam papers. To make things worse, I did not attempt the past-year papers. It was a big, enormous mistake!
I did not manage to complete the paper and spent too much time doing certain questions. Most of the MCQs were posed in an indirect way and required some thinking. The answers were not very direct and I spent quite some time going through all the options. I realised that I had lost quite a lot of marks.
A "1x jia lat jia lat" today.

I took a peep at the older entries of my classmate's blog. Through reading of the first few entries, the emotions and innocence of a teenager's life were very well portrayed and I could easily visualise the events that were described. The budding of new friendships, the problems faced as well as bits and pieces of everyday life were all written beautifully. Though the blog was not very magnificient in terms of design and layout, the content was "fleshy" and full of flavour. It definitely makes you hungry for more!
Oh Landy! I just love it when you sing!

"Follow the notes upon a journey
At first sight marks one’s destiny
When the voyage comes to an end
Return lies within hasty keys"
I watched "Secret" on Friday. It was a great movie, especially for a director's first film. This movie encompasses elements of humour, romance and suspense at the same time. The storyline is simple, yet with a touch of creativity. It has an unexpected twist as well. For those who wants to find out more, I shall not spoil it for you. Watch the movie! I recommend you to watch it.
The female lead somehow displays an "aura" in the movie, though she is not extremely good-looking.
I got to go. Good night!

Happy 42nd birthday Singapore!
I came here today to post specially for the nation. Haha.
Anyway, I am here today because I am not sure when I may be here to post again as I will be busy preparing for my exams. I will be back on the 24th or the 25th, I promise.
I started my revision yesterday and I realised that I may not have enough time. Though I have revised most of the topics before, I tend to forget the facts quickly. Hence, whenever there are exams or tests, I have to start all over again.
I still remember Aug 9 last year. Time: 1550. I was having some tidbits given to the performers. In about 1/2 hours time, I would be having my dinner. Following that, it was performance time!
Those fond memories would always be remembered. As for now, I need to go and wash up for a cosy evening at my cousin's place. Cya!

A beautiful Sunday.
I finally finished my OSRM formal report. Woohoo! All quizzes are over and now is the time to prepare for exams. Of course, not forgetting my GEM assignment which I will touch on later.
The ENVSTA quiz on Friday was not too bad. Though I did not manage to recall certain information, I am sure that I am able to pass this time round. I have to pass or else I will have a "showdown" with Dr Octavius again! Imagine hugging ENVSTA notes to sleep and dreaming about Dr Octavius! My aim is to obtain at least 70% for this quiz.
10 more days to exams. This is my first time taking them in a poly. I wonder how the atmosphere would be like. Exams in JCs were traditionally "fierce" and often eluded a tense atmosphere which affected my performance in some way or another. I just hope to ace my papers and leave SP with no regrets. To infinity and beyond!
I have so many things planned for the upcoming break. I would be studying the stock market, opening a new fixed deposit account, start my practical driving lessons and so on. Schedule would be fairly packed.
I shall end here. All the best to my "younger brothers and sisters" in the upcoming exams! Add oil! We shall make it together!

Heyhey!
First of all, my sincere apologies for not updating my blog for the past week. I have been busy these past few days studying for quizzes, completing my last practical datasheet and doing my final formal report for OSRM. In additon, my monitor had "PMS" last Saturday and just recovered on Monday. I hope it "controls" itself better.
I am now left with the ENVSTA quiz that is coming up this Friday, after which I will finish up my OSRM report. Lastly, I will touch on my GEM assignment that is due on National Day's eve. Once all these has been done, I would conclude my schoolwork for this semester and concentrate on my exams. I shall give my final burst of power!
There was this Caucasian woman who caught my attention on the train while I was on my way home today. She had a well-endowed figure and had chiselled good looks too. She was not exceptionally pretty, but she was close to my "ideal one". However, I want to emphasise that my "ideal one" does not have to be a Caucasian. I go for Chemistry and Physics. Biology would come later.
I shall end here. Over and out!

Hey!
I got a fresh new haircut yesterday. This haircut reminded me of my Advanced Infantry Training (AIT) days, where the standard haircut was two by one, which means the length of your hair on top has to be not more than 2 cm, with length at the sides not more than 1 cm. I feel more refreshed.
There was an article in "my paper" which reported that Vitamin C only reduces your risk of getting colds by 8%. Hence, there is no need for individuals to spend $ on Vitamin C supplements and consume them everyday.
However, Vitamin C is essential for people who take in extreme stress, such as athletes and military personnel. If they take in Vitamin C in the required amount everyday, they could reduce their risk of getting colds by 50%!
On to schoolwork, I am now left with my last BIA datasheet and my OSRM formal report. I have to finish my part on BIA by today to have enough time for the upcoming quizzes.
Time for work. Bye!

Hi!
I received my first 2 CCA points in SP! They are awarded because I am compassionate and willing to give up about 300 ml of my blood to the needy. Hahaha. I would most probably be continuing my noble task in the next and subsequent semesters. Anyway, I would not be donating just because of the CCA points as the maximum number of points I would get from this noble task is 8, which is lower than the minimum requirement of 10 points needed in order to get 1 bonus point for CCA. =(
I am too lazy to write further. I apologize for being so "anti-climatic". Bye!

Bonjour!
It is now the wee hours of the morning. However, I have a sudden urge to write. I shall try to make this post a short and a sweet one.
I had a short day in school today.
I attended a 1-hour lecture on MATSC before going for a 1-hour break which was followed by my GEM class. I was able to absorb much of what was taught during my GEM class today, though I did not have enough sleep the night before.
I managed to doze off for a while on the train while standing. This is an amazing feat.
A few hours earlier before writing this post, I experienced a strange feeling. All of a sudden, I felt restless. The cause involves a sense of uncertainty.
Anyway, I am going off to sleep now. An exciting and brand new day beckons. Nite.

Hi!
I had a platoon gathering in the evening. It feels great to meet up with your old friends, especially when you have not met them for months. Furthermore, they are brothers who have been through hardships and toil together and fought alongside with me during my army days.
Our initial plan was to have dinner at "Gelare", Suntec City. However, there were too many people at the cafe. After receiving some BK coupons, we decided to have our dinnner at BK. Haha.
We stayed at BK for more than an hour before leaving for some desserts. As intended, we went back to "Gelare" to take a look. To our disappointment, the crowd was still there. In the end, we went to "New York New York" for our "second round".
One of my platoon mates managed to obtain his driving license not too long ago. He paid only 500-plus for his overall driving course! He had a good "lobang", so I am going to start my practical driving as soon as my school holiday starts.
So long!

V A N A K A M!
Today is Friday the 13th, the day which many people treat it as an unlucky day. Although there is no historical evidence of how this day came about, there are many versions of folklore that explains the origin of "Friday the 13th".
Fortunately, there was no "unlucky" incident that occured on me today. Today is perhaps the best "Friday the 13th" in my history. Haha!
Today was a long and tiring day.
There were lots of stuff taught by Doc Oct during the ENVSTA tutorial today. However, I did not feel threatened by the amount of workload that I have to study. I feel different while attending his lessons now and I feel more confident in handling his upcoming quiz. I can feel the force. Unfortunately, C M Tso is still beaten by the "Z bug" today. I feel sorry for him.
I got back my second MATSC quiz today. I was fairly satisfied, but I believe I am capable of getting better results. I could not forget the scene when Dr Yin said, "OMG!" in an American slang. Hahaha.
Finally, I did my "virgin" make-up practical lesson today. It was fun working with Ham, although I am starting to wonder whether he is still in my class. Mr Ng would always be my favourite lecturer in all my practical lessons. He is a fatherly figure.
That would be all. I will be back!

Hola!
Many things ran through my mind before, during and after my dinner today. That is the reason why I am here today. Let me see how much I can regurgitate here now.
Here are some food for thought for today.
1. Gym instructors are gays. How far do you agree with this statement?
2. A picture says a thousand words but it does not show a million details. Discuss.
3. Satisfying a woman's needs is a difficult task. Do you agree?
I got the idea for the first one during my conversation with my classmate today. The second one was a remark made by another classmate of mine yesterday. As for the third one...
Do they look like typical General Paper (GP) questions to you? Haha...
Feel free to write down your comments and hand it in to me for marking!
Now let me get on to proper business.
Finally, after much turmoil and sweat, I finally handed in my MATSC formal report today. It was the longest report I have ever done in a polytechnic before. It was the "longest" in terms of the number of pages and the length of time I spent doing it. One rock down. One last one, OSRM formal report to go.
The quiz fever starts next week. There would be a series of quizzes starting with the CORRSC quiz next tuesday. I shall stick to my principles as usual to cope with the upcoming weeks.
I shall stop here for today.
For my lovely Mother Russia!

H E L L O !
You may be thinking whether it is your eyes that have gone wild. Worry do not, the style of typing above is intentional.
Let me go straight to the happenings.
I came "seriously" late for school today. I emphasise on the word "seriously" because I totally missed a practical lesson. This was the first time I missed a lesson in my history as a polytechnic student. I promised myself not to let this history repeat itself again.
Missing this lesson means my "Beautiful Friday Afternoon" is going to be burnt.
During my train trip to school this afternoon, 5 policemen (not those friendly neighbourhood ones you see in your neighbourhood, but those that you see at MRT stations every now and then) boarded the train at Lavender and alighted at City Hall. They were stiff and expressionless. They reminded me of my NS days when I used to do "Ops Bacinet", in which I had to protect certain key installations in Singapore.
I think that is all for today. Cheers!

Cheers!

Cool videos from Spollywood!
Argh! I have finally reached the end of a dull week.
Let me explain.
There was not much to do for school this week, other than studying for the MATSC test which just ended today. However, I did not feel "good" ever since the start of this week. I just do not know why. It could be the frustration I felt when I was doing the MATSC report. Or it could be something about relationships between people.
This feeling "sucks" because when once you experience it, you would feel that you want to be alone and get detached from the outside world. My apologies if this explanation is too hard for you to comprehend. It is hard for me to write down in words too.
Let me change the subject. The following may be uninteresting for you to read, but I just want to post it here. I am bored. =)
Recently, I was thinking of those female friends that I used to "fancy" in the past. They have some qualities that are similar in all of them. They are either studious or hardworking. They are not extremely intellectual, but they are fairly good in their studies. I seem to be attracted to them because of those qualities, though I myself do not totally think so. Furthermore, they are not extremely good-looking (sorry, no offence). I am so confused. Damn.
One more thing. I suddenly got back my interest in Counter-Strike, a first-person shooter game which was very popular since my secondary school days. Man I miss those days! I shall play that game whenever I am free or when I am too stressed. It makes me high!
I shall stop here for today. Remember to tune in to this page once in a while! Adios!

Hi everyone!
Initially, I did not want to write a post here today. However, a song suddenly came to my mind that tempted me to log in and embed the song here. It is titled "I Swear".
"I Swear" was one of the popular songs during my primary school days. It left me a deep impression as it reveals a person's feelings when he or she is in love. The lyrics effectively brought out the feeling of the song.
I am trying to finish my MATSC report by Friday. Progress has been hmm... slow...
Hasta la vista!

Yo!
I went back to the Esprit shop in the morning for an exchange in size for my shirt that I bought earlier. To my disappointment, the staff refused to change it.
I started my MATSC formal report today. I think I'm lagging behind time as I haven't been doing much for the past few days. Doing the MATSC report was very "dry".
I aim to finish up to "Procedure" by today.
I'll be going for a run later to relax myself. I'm going to try the 4km-plus route which I came up with a few days ago. It passes by YY's neighbourhood.
Before I forget, I would like to wish my ex-comrades and all soldiers out there a "Happy SAF Day"!
So long!

Autobots! Roll on!
I checked my ENVSTA quiz results today. I was quite surprised with what I saw. As expected, I failed the paper. However, it was comparable to an "AO" level pass, or a "H1" level pass. Not extremely happy but I am content. As the saying goes, "知足常乐".
I am completely defeated by Dr Octavius's mechanical arms. They were deadly. If you had read or watched chinese novels or shows about characters with powerful martial arts in an olden setting, you may probably remember the hero "郭靖", pronounced as "Guo Jing" in Mandarin. He was one of the good guys in "射雕英雄传", also known as "Legend of the Condor Heroes".
Guo Jing had this skill where he could exert a large amount of energy from his palms, known as "降龙十八掌" or "dragon-subduing palms". Just imagine someone slapping your face 18 times, with 9 times on each cheek. OuCh!
Nevertheless, I always tell myself not to give up. As always, I am going to push myself yet relax whenever I want to, such as after half an hour of studying or working. Two years of NS have passed. What's this? I've been through more shit than this.
Cheers!

Yo!
Today was the first time I had a 5-hour free period in school!
Initially, I was deciding whether I should go back home, stay in school or go somewhere else. Later on, I realised I couldn't think of what to do in school and I'm too tired to go somewhere else. Hence, I went home in the end.
Once back in school, there were lectures as usual. 2 of our quizzes were marked and returned to us. They were the OSRM and BIA quizzes.
My result for the OSRM quiz was within my expectations, though I had expected higher marks for my BIA quiz. Nevertheless, I was glad that my performance in the BIA quiz was better than P. My aim is to defeat J & P, the two better students in my class. I realised that J was not able to achieve higher marks due to his carelessness. P, being more careful, was able to get better marks for OSRM.
I hope I can reach my full potential in my semester exmainations.
Byebye!

I finally completed my tests this week.
The MATSC test was quite simple and I realised that it was fairly easy to get full marks. However, there was one question which I am unsure of, which means my full marks is gone. Damn!
For the PROINS test, the paper was fairly easy too. Passing the paper is definitely a piece of mango cake. However, I don't think I would score as high compared to my MATSC test.
Ever since I took my first series of quizzes in SP, I noticed that it was possible to do well for all the tests. There's much to study, but the amount tested in the tests is little. An exception would be the ENVSTA quiz.
I also discovered recently that my forte is in calculations. I have passsed the age of memorising huge chunks of theory from my studies. Suddenly, I seem to have the interest in calculation problems. This is something paranormal indeed.
That's all for now. May the force be with you. Always.

Hi everyone!
Today is a hot and sunny day. This is not unusual as today is a "SUNDAY".
As usual, I woke up late in the morning. I wanted to have my "brunch" before starting my MATSC revision, but lunch was not ready. I ate a piece of bread containing some chicken and whipped potato filling. It was not very palatable, but it was "edible".
Today was quite a boring day, without any interesting happenings. I finished revising my MATSC once and plan to touch on my PROINS at night, not forgetting "Initial D" which is showing today. I watched it once and thought the movie was "Ok".
That's all for today. C Y A !

I did something new today.
This is my first post. I wonder whether I would have the willpower to maintain it and keep it going for the rest of my life, or maybe towards the end of time. Let's just see how it goes.
Today is the day I realised that there's nothing much to be done, or maybe, there's things to be done but i just don't want to touch them. Today was the only day in my term break that I found some time on my hands and I had time to laze around. That was the feeling I had been waiting for so long. Damn!
On to schoolwork, I finished my ENVSTA case study and now left with just MATSC formal report for now. My plan is to revise my MATSC today for my upcoming test next week. Of course, not forgetting PROINS which I will touch on later.
That will be all for today. Time for some crunch time= a 30 minute run!
Hope you enjoyed reading this simple, humble post of mine. Hope to see you all again. Au revoir!
