Hey!

I got a fresh new haircut yesterday. This haircut reminded me of my Advanced Infantry Training (AIT) days, where the standard haircut was two by one, which means the length of your hair on top has to be not more than 2 cm, with length at the sides not more than 1 cm. I feel more refreshed.

There was an article in "my paper" which reported that Vitamin C only reduces your risk of getting colds by 8%. Hence, there is no need for individuals to spend $ on Vitamin C supplements and consume them everyday.

However, Vitamin C is essential for people who take in extreme stress, such as athletes and military personnel. If they take in Vitamin C in the required amount everyday, they could reduce their risk of getting colds by 50%!

On to schoolwork, I am now left with my last BIA datasheet and my OSRM formal report. I have to finish my part on BIA by today to have enough time for the upcoming quizzes.

Time for work. Bye!

Hi!

I received my first 2 CCA points in SP! They are awarded because I am compassionate and willing to give up about 300 ml of my blood to the needy. Hahaha. I would most probably be continuing my noble task in the next and subsequent semesters. Anyway, I would not be donating just because of the CCA points as the maximum number of points I would get from this noble task is 8, which is lower than the minimum requirement of 10 points needed in order to get 1 bonus point for CCA. =(

I am too lazy to write further. I apologize for being so "anti-climatic". Bye!

Bonjour!

It is now the wee hours of the morning. However, I have a sudden urge to write. I shall try to make this post a short and a sweet one.

I had a short day in school today.

I attended a 1-hour lecture on MATSC before going for a 1-hour break which was followed by my GEM class. I was able to absorb much of what was taught during my GEM class today, though I did not have enough sleep the night before.

I managed to doze off for a while on the train while standing. This is an amazing feat.

A few hours earlier before writing this post, I experienced a strange feeling. All of a sudden, I felt restless. The cause involves a sense of uncertainty.

Anyway, I am going off to sleep now. An exciting and brand new day beckons. Nite.

Hi!

I had a platoon gathering in the evening. It feels great to meet up with your old friends, especially when you have not met them for months. Furthermore, they are brothers who have been through hardships and toil together and fought alongside with me during my army days.

Our initial plan was to have dinner at "Gelare", Suntec City. However, there were too many people at the cafe. After receiving some BK coupons, we decided to have our dinnner at BK. Haha.

We stayed at BK for more than an hour before leaving for some desserts. As intended, we went back to "Gelare" to take a look. To our disappointment, the crowd was still there. In the end, we went to "New York New York" for our "second round".

One of my platoon mates managed to obtain his driving license not too long ago. He paid only 500-plus for his overall driving course! He had a good "lobang", so I am going to start my practical driving as soon as my school holiday starts.

So long!

V A N A K A M!

Today is Friday the 13th, the day which many people treat it as an unlucky day. Although there is no historical evidence of how this day came about, there are many versions of folklore that explains the origin of "Friday the 13th".

Fortunately, there was no "unlucky" incident that occured on me today. Today is perhaps the best "Friday the 13th" in my history. Haha!

Today was a long and tiring day.

There were lots of stuff taught by Doc Oct during the ENVSTA tutorial today. However, I did not feel threatened by the amount of workload that I have to study. I feel different while attending his lessons now and I feel more confident in handling his upcoming quiz. I can feel the force. Unfortunately, C M Tso is still beaten by the "Z bug" today. I feel sorry for him.

I got back my second MATSC quiz today. I was fairly satisfied, but I believe I am capable of getting better results. I could not forget the scene when Dr Yin said, "OMG!" in an American slang. Hahaha.

Finally, I did my "virgin" make-up practical lesson today. It was fun working with Ham, although I am starting to wonder whether he is still in my class. Mr Ng would always be my favourite lecturer in all my practical lessons. He is a fatherly figure.

That would be all. I will be back!

Hola!

Many things ran through my mind before, during and after my dinner today. That is the reason why I am here today. Let me see how much I can regurgitate here now.

Here are some food for thought for today.

1. Gym instructors are gays. How far do you agree with this statement?
2. A picture says a thousand words but it does not show a million details. Discuss.
3. Satisfying a woman's needs is a difficult task. Do you agree?

I got the idea for the first one during my conversation with my classmate today. The second one was a remark made by another classmate of mine yesterday. As for the third one...

Do they look like typical General Paper (GP) questions to you? Haha...

Feel free to write down your comments and hand it in to me for marking!

Now let me get on to proper business.

Finally, after much turmoil and sweat, I finally handed in my MATSC formal report today. It was the longest report I have ever done in a polytechnic before. It was the "longest" in terms of the number of pages and the length of time I spent doing it. One rock down. One last one, OSRM formal report to go.

The quiz fever starts next week. There would be a series of quizzes starting with the CORRSC quiz next tuesday. I shall stick to my principles as usual to cope with the upcoming weeks.

I shall stop here for today.

For my lovely Mother Russia!

H E L L O !

You may be thinking whether it is your eyes that have gone wild. Worry do not, the style of typing above is intentional.

Let me go straight to the happenings.

I came "seriously" late for school today. I emphasise on the word "seriously" because I totally missed a practical lesson. This was the first time I missed a lesson in my history as a polytechnic student. I promised myself not to let this history repeat itself again.

Missing this lesson means my "Beautiful Friday Afternoon" is going to be burnt.

During my train trip to school this afternoon, 5 policemen (not those friendly neighbourhood ones you see in your neighbourhood, but those that you see at MRT stations every now and then) boarded the train at Lavender and alighted at City Hall. They were stiff and expressionless. They reminded me of my NS days when I used to do "Ops Bacinet", in which I had to protect certain key installations in Singapore.

I think that is all for today. Cheers!

Cool videos from Spollywood!

Argh! I have finally reached the end of a dull week.

Let me explain.

There was not much to do for school this week, other than studying for the MATSC test which just ended today. However, I did not feel "good" ever since the start of this week. I just do not know why. It could be the frustration I felt when I was doing the MATSC report. Or it could be something about relationships between people.

This feeling "sucks" because when once you experience it, you would feel that you want to be alone and get detached from the outside world. My apologies if this explanation is too hard for you to comprehend. It is hard for me to write down in words too.

Let me change the subject. The following may be uninteresting for you to read, but I just want to post it here. I am bored. =)

Recently, I was thinking of those female friends that I used to "fancy" in the past. They have some qualities that are similar in all of them. They are either studious or hardworking. They are not extremely intellectual, but they are fairly good in their studies. I seem to be attracted to them because of those qualities, though I myself do not totally think so. Furthermore, they are not extremely good-looking (sorry, no offence). I am so confused. Damn.

One more thing. I suddenly got back my interest in Counter-Strike, a first-person shooter game which was very popular since my secondary school days. Man I miss those days! I shall play that game whenever I am free or when I am too stressed. It makes me high!

I shall stop here for today. Remember to tune in to this page once in a while! Adios!

Hi everyone!

Initially, I did not want to write a post here today. However, a song suddenly came to my mind that tempted me to log in and embed the song here. It is titled "I Swear".

"I Swear" was one of the popular songs during my primary school days. It left me a deep impression as it reveals a person's feelings when he or she is in love. The lyrics effectively brought out the feeling of the song.

I am trying to finish my MATSC report by Friday. Progress has been hmm... slow...

Hasta la vista!

Yo!

I went back to the Esprit shop in the morning for an exchange in size for my shirt that I bought earlier. To my disappointment, the staff refused to change it.

I started my MATSC formal report today. I think I'm lagging behind time as I haven't been doing much for the past few days. Doing the MATSC report was very "dry".

I aim to finish up to "Procedure" by today.

I'll be going for a run later to relax myself. I'm going to try the 4km-plus route which I came up with a few days ago. It passes by YY's neighbourhood.

Before I forget, I would like to wish my ex-comrades and all soldiers out there a "Happy SAF Day"!

So long!
